I hope everyone is enjoying their Christmas break, and that la caja china is being set up properly in the backyard. Let’s do a quick prayer for porky the pig, may he be digested in joy. As far as I know el puerco is and has been a staple Cuban delicacy since….pues before Castro (from what Abuela tells me).
While Lyanis and I were off in New York in search for Cuban Men, we ended up with Guidos Y Chinos (got to admit they have some charm). In the meantime while we wait for the pig to roast, here’s a quick video of our Lyanis dancing:

To be completely honest, I haven’t mastered the skill of mojo making for el puerco. I leave the cooking to the older Cubans, but I should probably get to learning soon.
