Ah, el fin de semana is fast approaching us again and after an extensive work week I’m ready for a drink. A cojer curda!
Now before you run off thinking that us ladies here at Lo Que Pica El Gallo are some wild and crazy Latina chicks (no pun intended) that live in Miami and grew up in degenerate households with parents who cursed and called us all sorts of names, I have to clarify that we are two responsible young ladies brought up by respectable families. But after a weeks worth of work and being cooped up in our offices, when the weekend approaches, we like to let loose. With that said, on to the part about cojiendo tremenda curda.
While Miami’s signature drinks may include it’s self titled Vice and the more modern Red Bull-Vodka’s (made famous by LMFAO’s hit single “I’m In Miami Bitch,”) sugar infused drinks and vodka me caen como una bomba. So lately I’ve turned to trusty Bacardi. Rum and diet coke: wam bam, a low caloric drink that with a twist of lime, just so happens to be called una Cuba Libre. Ok, it’s a little altered from the original Cuba Libre, as I take mine with Coca Cola de dieta, but you get the point. It’s been my choice of poison during weekend outings and after a few down in the system, I’m ready to echar un pie.
What did I say? Echar un pie? Lay a foot… on the dance floor of course.
After a few more drinks, I tend to foolishly fall for the first guy que me mete muela. Gives me tooth? A sweet tooth, that is. You see the thing about men in Miami is that the majority, like the rest of the population, are Hispanic. Within that vast population of Hispanics, a large portion of them happen to be Cuban. And if there’s one thing Cuban men are good at, it’s metiendo trememnda muela. Although the sweet talking is painfully obvious, la chispa that comes with a Latino man is undeniably charming. Okay, maybe not always charming, and just humorously different. However, con curda o sin curda, more times than not, we find our run of the mill pesado que se da lija . So we laugh and simply reply, “Deja la muela para el dentista,” take another sip of our Bacardi’s, hoping la nota doesn’t get too out of hand and head back onto the dance floor to echar otro pie mas.
