Hablando de lo que pica el gallo…formando un arroz con mango.
El dicho has been rummaging through my head for the past few weeks following Los Premios Juventud that were hosted live on July 15th from right here in our own neighborhood. I know it’s a little past due and we’ve been a little m.i.a from our blog, but no te preocupes, nos estamos poniendo las pilas and we’re on it. There will probably be a post about poniendose las pilas sometime in the near future, but in the meantime, back to the talent that surrounded Premios Juventud (or the lack there of.)
Example? Puerto Rican Latin Grammy nominee Ivy Queen.
Me parace que le faltan unos tornillos a que piensa she is Grammy material but then again, there have been far worse nominees and winners. However, I’m not here to judge, you are!
I think it’s safe to say que Ivy Queen ni canta ni come fruta.
Como la palomita que no sabe cantar, the same uselessness can be said about Ivy Queen. A figure in Latin Pop, we can count on her for a one-hit wonder reggaeton single and nothing more… unless la caballota offers her services as a drag queen.
